About Us
As a child of a military family, Robert had the opportunity to travel the world; living in some of the most beautiful parts of the world, such as Hawaii and Japan. After his father retired from the military, their family decided to make Denton, Texas their home.
At a very young age, Robert knew that he wanted to own his own business one day. At six years old, and before he could see over the mower’s handle bars, he began mowing lawns for only $10.00 per yard. Robert’s mother laughs as she recalls the quantity of mowers that had to be repaired & replaced; as young Robert ran over everything in his way.
After graduating from Denton High School, Robert began his career in the grocery store industry. After several years in management at the local Piggly Wiggly in Denton, Robert decided to make a career change. In March of 2004, Robert was hired by Michael Nack to manage Four Seasons Nursery in Denton, TX. For three years Robert used his management experience to assist Michael in the growth of his business, while Robert gained a vast amount of knowledge from
Mike, regarding all facets of plants, trees, shrubs and landscape design.
In 2007 Robert earned his Irrigation License from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Not long after Robert earned his license, Native Springs Irrigation & Landscape was born.
In today’s competitive market, Robert’s commitments to quality and customer satisfaction have proved to be essential when competing with larger companies. Most of Native Spring’s new clientele are received from referrals; speaking volumes about the quality of work that Robert delivers.
Although Robert doesn’t mow lawns anymore, he does offer a wide variety of outdoor living services through design, installation and repair. He truly enjoys meeting new people and helping others bring their ideas and designs to life. Each inspiring desing is unique to his client's outdoor space and style.
In his spare time, Robert serves on the board as the president for Denton Area Youth Football Leaque (DAYFL), as well as coaching. He is a very active father in his children’s lives.
